Sono stati invitati colleghi che lavorano nel campo della dinamica nonlineare a presentare i più recenti risultati scientifici in ambito Experimental Nnonlinear Dynamics, Characterization, and System Identification. Sono state implementate tutte le proceudre di revisione dei lavori sottomessi, fatte le valutazioni d accettazione, predisposto il programma con i chairman, si è monitorato tutto lo sviluppo del simposio. Di seguito è inserita la call for papers. Papers are welcome for research involving experimental investigations of nonlinear phenomena and/or experimental characterizations of experimentally observed nonlinear dynamics. This may include research covering a variety of nonlinear dynamics experimentation, signal processing, analysis of data to characterize nonlinear systems, identification of nonlinear dynamic models, experimental verification of nonlinear control methodologies, and the comparison of an experiment to the underlying mathematical model. Novel analyses designed to be applicable to experimental studies are also of interest. Potential topical studies may include, but are not limited to: 1) Experimental studies of observed nonlinear dynamic phenomena. 2) Comparison of experimental results with theoretical predictions in nonlinear flexible structures, machines, mechanisms, and systems. 3) Novel experimental methods. 4) Nonlinear time series analysis, reduced-order modeling. 5) Characterization using fractals, Lyapunov exponents, unstable periodic orbits, or other innovative methodologies. 6) Modal analysis: proper orthogonal decomposition and nonlinear normal modes. 7) Signal transform analyses: empirical mode decomposition, wavelet analysis, Hilbert transform, and Fourier methods. 8) Parametric or nonparametric nonlinear identification. 9) Nonlinear methods for the characterization of structural health and/or damage level. 10) Experimental verification of control strategies for nonlinear systems. 11) Experimental studies of impact oscillators. 12) Utilization of nonlinear phenomena for motion control. 13) Experimental studies of nonlinear coupling and its application to control.
