The FutureCities international conference, organized by the SENSEable City Laboratory at MIT in Boston, in April 2011, was an opportunity to have access to a broad overview of the status of the applications of ICT in the cities of the world, from a vantage point. The study proposes some interesting experiments, but also no doubt that we have not yet used the best technology innovation to plan our cities, and certainly we still need to multiply experiments, reflections and comparisons.
La conferenza internazionale FutureCities, organizzata dal SENSEAble City Laboratory del MIT di Boston, nell’Aprile 2011, è stata l’occasione per avere accesso a un’ampia panoramica sullo stato delle applicazioni delle ICT, nelle città del mondo, da un osservatorio privilegiato. L’approfondimento propone alcune sperimentazioni interessanti, ma anche il dubbio che non abbiamo ancora utilizzato al meglio l’innovazione tecnologica per pianificare le nostre città, e senz’altro abbiamo ancora bisogno di moltiplicare sperimentazioni, riflessioni e confronti.
