A comparison between two interpretative procedures of rapid aquifer tests (slug-test) performed on several monitoring wells within a plan of reclamation of a polluted site is commented and discussed. The concerned area in matter is a dismissed chemistry factory close to Milan. The area, heavily polluted by chlorinated solvents, is carefully studied to define the possible strategies of reclamation. The analysis of the data has underlined that, in the case in examination, the model of Bouwer & Rice furnishes more reliable results in comparison to the model of Hvorslev because it is better adapted to the characteristics of the tested aquifer.

Abstract
