The present handbook describes the finite-element computer code XENIOS++ (X++) has been developed as the improved version of the in-house CFD code XENIOS originally written in FORTRAN. The X++ CFD solver is designed for the simulation of 3D viscous fluids, in steady and unsteady flows specially developed for turbomachinery configurations. The program features a modular structure, aimed at making future developments easier; initially developed for two-dimensional laminar flows, it is now capable of handling chemically reacting turbulent flows in two-dimensional, axisymmetric and three-dimensional geometries.

Abstract
The present handbook describes the finite-element computer code XENIOS++ (X++) has been developed as the improved version of the in-house CFD code XENIOS originally written in FORTRAN. The X++ CFD solver is designed for the simulation of 3D viscous fluids, in steady and unsteady flows specially developed for turbomachinery configurations. The program features a modular structure, aimed at making future developments easier; initially developed for two-dimensional laminar flows, it is now capable of handling chemically reacting turbulent flows in two-dimensional, axisymmetric and three-dimensional geometries.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
