The aim of the study was to assess the efficacy, the safety and the reproductive outcome of laparoscopic treatment of ectopic pregnancy. From June 1993 to December 1998, 45 women underwent laparoscopy for tubal pregnancy Linear salpingostomy (LS) was performed in 22 patients, local injection of Methotrexate (MTX) in 10, salpingectomy in 12, and tubal "milking" in one. No intraoperative or postoperative complications occurred. LS was successful in 95.5% of cases, MTX in 90%, salpingectomy and tubal "milking" in all cases. Among the patients desiring a pregnancy, an intrauterine pregnancy was observed in 57% of cases after MTX, in 70% after LS, in 42.5% after salpingectomy. Ectopic pregnancy occurred in 14.2% of cases after MTX and in 14.2% of cases after salpingectomy. In conclusion laparoscopic conservative or radical treatment of ectopic pregnancy, is safe and effective and offers a good reproductive outcome.

Abstract
In conclusion laparoscopic conservative or radical treatment of ectopic pregnancy, is safe and effective and offers a good reproductive outcome.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
