Here an estimation is given of the gravitational-wave power radiated by a circulating bunch of particles in high energy accelerators. We found for LEP-2 a value of 5.6×10−6eV/s, and for a 100 TeV proton synchrotron 0.1 eV/s. These values correspond to the largest continuous and periodic source of this type of energy obtainable on earth, and the problem of its detection has to be considered in the near future.
