Pratiche dell’abitare. La ricerca urbanistica e la «città degli uomini»

The contribution develops a discussion of how the theme of urban practices is addressed in the urban field. The first objective of this paper is therefore to show how they have been "imported" methodologies of their disciplines of anthropology and sociology, but even if briefly illustrate some of the most innovative methods that integrate quantitative and qualitative approaches, from a spatial approach and oriented in sense of design. Second, we will develop a comparison between these methodologies, highlighting both the limitations that the innovative elements, in the light of the current debate, and which constitute an interesting potential to develop, even in the dialogue between disciplines.

Il contributo sviluppa un approfondimento su come il tema delle pratiche urbane è affrontato in campo urbanistico. Primo obiettivo del presente contributo non è quindi far vedere come sono state “importate” metodologie più proprie delle discipline antropologiche e sociologiche, ma illustrare anche se sinteticamente alcune metodologie più innovative che integrano approcci quantitativi e qualitativi, a partire da un approccio spaziale ed orientato in senso progettuale. In secondo luogo, si svilupperà un confronto tra queste metodologie evidenziandone sia i limiti che gli elementi innovativi, alla luce del dibattito attuale, e che costituiscono un’interessante potenzialità da sviluppare, anche nel dialogo tra discipline.
