“SixSigma” method was born in Motorola, not casually at the beginning of the Eighties. This was the period, in fact, in which the competition of manufacturing products coming from Japan is starting to begin unaffordable for a large number of American enterprises, mainly in high-tech sectors. With SixSigma Motorola opens the way to western run towards Japan industries on quality policies, proposing a tool that is still successfully used by thousands of companies all over the world. The present paper has the aim to go along the main steps of the development of SixSigma, with regards to the long experience in Motorola.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
