Spirodela polurrhiza (L.) Schleid. and Eichhornia crassipes (Mart.) Solms in Agro Pontino fresh waters Lazio). The Authors report on the discovery in some stations of Agro Pontino area (South-West of Lazio) of two intersting aquatic plants, Spirodela polyrrhiza and Eichhornia crassipes, whose distribution in this area wasn't well known till now. Both of them are including in the floristic composition of Lemno-Spirodeletum polyrhizae, a new association for this area belonging to Lemnetea minoris class. Some interesting phytogeographical problems are also discussed in order to clarify the S. polyrrhiza and Salvinia natans role in the regional vegetation.
