The paper discusses the audience engement produced around the TV series Lost, which has resulted in a set of innovative practices of consumption: first the possibility of viewing the tv content on different devices, and not just through the tv screen; second, the consumption of content exceeds the tv schedule and the release windows of the product. Thanks to these fan practices rised around Lost, the so-called TV anywhere and anytime has emerged and now it is widespread among all audiences.
