Abstract
The work presents the results of multi- and inter-disciplinary research carried out at Uan Afuda (SW Libya, central Sahara). In particular, pollen data and archaeological information reveal the presence of penned Barbary sheep in the Early Holocene around 8000 uncal years before present. The presence of corralled wild animals favors the idea of a system of delayed use of resources among Saharan foragers.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
