The areas of philosophical inquiry in which the name of Louis Pareyson could be distinguished by the depth of thought and originality are many theoretical and, at least the most famous, seemingly distant from the interests of its philosophy of law and politics. Listing them quickly, reference may be made to aesthetics, hermeneutics, ethics, and as historian of philosophy he was occupied mainly idealism and existentialism, which also represent the core of his conceptual elaboration. It is perhaps less well known, however, that a central importance for its formation was the meeting with the legal philosopher Joel Solari, who Pareyson recalls how the figure of the teacher, along with Guzzo and jacks. These brief references to the early years of the formation of Louis Pareyson not prove his innocence against the issues and problems in the philosophy of law, that fact will always remain in the background, so that it may be possible to read the work of Pareyson the light of his explanation in this direction. It is not difficult, although there are not many references on this, see the fruitfulness of the philosophy of interpretation of Louis Pareyson to the philosophy of law. The same goes for his studies on freedom, personal and social life, but also, as this may at first seem unorthodox, work on aesthetics, to the centrality of the concept of formative deals with the elaboration of any prospect where the right wants to conceive.
Gli ambiti della ricerca filosofica in cui il nome di Luigi Pareyson ha potuto distinguersi per profondità di pensiero ed originalità teoretica sono molti e, almeno i più noti, apparentemente distanti dagli interessi propri della filosofia del diritto e della politica. Elencandoli rapidamente, può farsi riferimento all'estetica, all'ermeneutica, all'etica; come storico della filosofia egli si occupò principalmente dell'idealismo e dell'esistenzialismo, che rappresentano anche il nucleo della sua elaborazione concettuale. È forse meno noto, tuttavia, che un'importanza centrale per la sua formazione ebbe l'incontro con il filosofo del diritto Gioele Solari, che Pareyson ricorda come figura di maestro, insieme a Guzzo e a Martinetti. Questi brevi riferimenti agli anni iniziali della formazione di Luigi Pareyson dimostrano la sua non estraneità ai temi ed ai problemi della filosofia del diritto, che infatti resteranno sempre sullo sfondo, tanto che è forse possibile leggere l'opera di Pareyson alla luce della sua esplicitazione in questa direzione. Non è difficile, benché non siano molti i riferimenti in merito, scorgere la fecondità della filosofia dell'interpretazione di Luigi Pareyson per la filosofia del diritto. Lo stesso vale per i suoi studi sulla libertà, sulla persona e sulla socialità, ma anche, per quanto questo possa sembrare a prima vista eterodosso, il lavoro sull'estetica, per la centralità che il concetto di formatività occupa nell'elaborazione di qualsiasi prospettiva in cui voglia concepirsi il diritto.
