The breakage of fragile crystals gives rise to fragments in a wide size range: in cristallization and downstream processing a huge amount of fragments may be generated causing a loss of product. The main aim of this work is to show a procedure both to estimate to wich extent the produced coarse crystals are prone to breakage and to determine the size distribution of the fragments.

Abstract
The breakage of fragile crystals gives rise to fragments in a wide size range: in cristallization and downstream processing a huge amount of fragments may be generated causing a loss of product. The main aim of this work is to show a procedure both to estimate to wich extent the produced coarse crystals are prone to breakage and to determine the size distribution of the fragments.File allegati a questo prodotto
