Whole-atom Compton scattering cross-sections are evaluated for selected biological elements in the energy region from 1 to 4 keV and from 5 keV to 10 MeV, for the other elements. These cross-sections were calculated within the non-relativistic impulse approximation. The Compton profiles utilized here were taken from the tables of Biggs et al.
