The communication reports the recent results on parameters which enhance the reactivity and the enantiomeric eccess in lipase catalyzed reaction in supercritical CO2. Chiral alcohols have been prepared in enantiomeric eccess via enantioselective acetylation of the corresponding racemic alcohols using immobilized crude lipase in supercritical CO2.
