The case of an Infectious aneurysm of the interosseous artery at the right forearm is reported, with presenting symptoms consisting in pain, loss of motor functions and paresthesias. The association of occupational trauma and hematogenous bacterial grafting were the possible etiologic agents. Diagnostic evaluation included ultrasound. Doppler study, CT-scan and arteriography, but the exact origin of the mass from the interosseous artery could be detected only at operation. As good cob laterals were present at preoperative evaluation, simple excision followed by debridment and ligation was performed with a good result. The isolated infecting agent belonged to the salmonella species.

Abstract
The case of an Infectious aneurysm of the interosseous artery at the right forearm is reported, with presenting symptoms consisting in pain, loss of motor functions and paresthesias. The association of occupational trauma and hematogenous bacterial grafting were the possible etiologic agents. Diagnostic evaluation included ultrasound. Doppler study, CT-scan and arteriography, but the exact origin of the mass from the interosseous artery could be detected only at operation. As good cob laterals were present at preoperative evaluation, simple excision followed by debridment and ligation was performed with a good result. The isolated infecting agent belonged to the salmonella species.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
