The esterification of secondary alcohols with acetic anhydride catalyzed by a lipase from Pseudomonas sp. has been investigated in supercritical CO2. Experimental data have been obtained from reactions carried out in a high pressure reactor containing lipase adsorbed on a silica gel support. The reaction rates and the enantiomeric eccess of the reaction in comparison with different organic solvents have been investigated.

Abstract
The esterification of secondary alcohols with acetic anhydride catalyzed by a lipase from Pseudomonas sp. has been investigated in supercritical CO2. Experimental data have been obtained from reactions carried out in a high pressure reactor containing lipase adsorbed on a silica gel support. The reaction rates and the enantiomeric eccess of the reaction in comparison with different organic solvents have been investigated.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
