Aspetti del paolinismo origeniano

This study deals with some aspects of Origenian paulinism, examining it in the light of the specific polemical context in which Origen's works are typically placed. In the first half of the third century Ebionites and some other goups of the Jewish matrix on the one hand and Gnostics and marcionites on the other, were all proposing extreme interpretations - both positive and negative - of the Apostle's thought and teaching. In this way Origen was forced to clarify continuously and ever more deeply Paul's role in building Christian communities. Origen considers this role as explained mainly within the exegesis of the Scriptures. In fact, he derives from Paul's epistles all the principal rules that govern his hermeneutical ratio. Furthermore, he sees Paul's role also explained in his anthropological reflection, as is shown in his analysis of some relevant texts.
