The article presented the figure of Domenico Morichini, physician and chemist who worked in Rome in the first decades of the nineteenth century and entertained during his lifetime close relations with the most important chemists of the period. Are shown in particular studies of Morichini in the field of chemical analysis of teeth and bones and his theories on the nature of light and magnetic properties.
