Recent BaBar results on rare B decays involving flavor changing neutral currents are presented. New measurements of the CP asymmetries in b -> s gamma and B -> L*gamma decays are reported as well as B -> K(*)l(+)l(-) and b -> sl(+)l(-) branching ratio measurements. The data sample comprises 123 x 10(6)Upsilon(4S) -> B (B) over bar decays collected with the BaBar detector at the PEP-II e(+)e(-) storage ring(a).
