The paper deals with torque control of induction motors. A nonlinear control design solving an instantaneous high power demand is proposed while maintaining the stability of the filter which is located between the converter and the power supply line. A continuous time solution is proposed as the nominal solution of a more accurate digital design. Simulation results are discussed. © 2011 IFAC.
