This work presents a new and cost effective MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical System) technology for the realization of tridimensional broadband micro-antenna structures and phased array structures for GHz and THz frequency range. A tapered helical antenna has been realized with MEMS technology and the use of such structure in phased arrays between 0.6 and 1.0 THz is simulated and presented. © 2011 EurAAP.
