In this paper different approaches for the numerical calculation of Green's functions of printed structures with two-dimensional (2-D) periodicity are presented. Recurring to specific asymptotic extractions, several techniques can be used to improve the efficiency of the procedure for a specific geometry. Choices are possible among different asymptotic functions and/or different interpolation algorithms (bi-linear and B-splines). This work is the result of the cooperation between Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KUL) and "La Sapienza" University of Rome (SAPIENZA) within the ACE (Antenna Centre of Excellence) integration project on large arrays.
