Abstract
This contribution propose a reduced-space water-filling-like algorithm by considering an approach based on simultaneous antenna/carrier selection for MIMO-OFDM systems. This power allocation and signal shaping is performed without assuming perfect Channel State Information at the transmitter. In addition, in this work, performance comparisons between "shaped" codes obtained through antenna/carrier selection and orthogonal ones are presented. The main result is that although the Antenna-Carrier selection is not able to out perform ideal case in terms of capacity it presents less complexity. At the same time the codes "shaped" by power allocation outperform orthogonal ones. © Copyright 2015 IEEE All rights reserved.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
