Different carbon-based materials were characterized by atomic force acoustic microscopy: indentation moduli of a diamondlike carbon film and glassy carbon sample were measured; the homogeneity at sub-micrometrical scale of a dispersion of carbon nanotubes into epoxy matrix has been investigated.
