In this paper some questions related to the teaching of Mathematics in Italian High Schools are presented and discussed. More precisely, we deal with recent resolutions taken in Italy by the Department of Instruction, with reference to: - weekly schedules and the number of hours for each subject, - the "classes" to qualify as a Mathematics (and Physics) teacher, - new curricula for Mathematics.
