When a temp. difference was applied between the 2 sides of a composite cellulose [9004-34-6]-aq. poly(ethylene oxide) [25322-68-3]-cellulose membrane in H2O the thermoosmotic pressure was >300-fold greater than that obtained from single membranes. The results were explained in terms of the dissymetry of poly(ethylene oxide) concn. caused by the temp. gradient.

Abstract
When a temp. difference was applied between the 2 sides of a composite cellulose [9004-34-6]-aq. poly(ethylene oxide) [25322-68-3]-cellulose membrane in H2O the thermoosmotic pressure was >300-fold greater than that obtained from single membranes. The results were explained in terms of the dissymetry of poly(ethylene oxide) concn. caused by the temp. gradient.File allegati a questo prodotto
