Prospettive ed esperimenti nella cinematografia futurista

The futurist movement, rebellious and disruptive, has been able to upset the coordinates and codes of cultural production in the name of a dialectic of contemporaneity. The perception of innovative need as a characteristic of modernity and mockery of the habits, shows a strong awareness of the new Zeitgeist. This knowledge allows an artistic production that was symptomatic of particular historical situation. The same conditions that determine the emergence and spread of cinema are the social and technological conditions idolized by the Futurists: first of all the urban speed and technological progress. A decisive trait is also the mocking spirit of the Italian Futurist movement, that signs the inventions of the manifesto and the film "Vita futurista" by Arnaldo Ginna, a testing ground for new creations, new techniques, new futurist ways to play with reality deforming it, making it new, fast, "freewordist".

La corrente futurista, contestatrice e dirompente, si rivela capace di stravolgere le coordinate e i codici della produzione culturale all’insegna di una dialettica dell’attualità. E’ molto attuale la percezione del bisogno innovativo come caratteristica della modernità e irrisione delle consuetudini, dimostrando una forte consapevolezza del nuovo Zeitgeist. Tale cognizione permette una produzione artistica sintomatica della determinata situazione storica. Le medesime condizioni che determinano la nascita e la diffusione del cinematografo sono proprio i presupposti sociali e tecnologici idolatrati dai futuristi: in primis la velocità urbana ed il progresso tecnologico. Tratto decisivo resta lo spirito beffardo e dissacratore del movimento futurista italiano, che firma le invenzioni del manifesto e del film "Vita futurista" di Arnaldo Ginna, terreno di prova per nuove creazioni, nuove tecniche, nuovi modi futuristi di giocare con la realtà, deformandola, rendendola nuova, veloce, “parolibera”.
