The morphol. and thermodn. properties were studied of copolyester-amides [66094-41-5] contg. random sequences of -COC6H4CONH(CH2)6NHCOC6H4CO2(CH2)6O- hard segments and -COC6H4CONH(CH2)6NHCOC6H4CO2[(CH2)4O]n- soft segments. The samples were crystd. from DMSO at 30°. The trend in long spacing of the lamellas, detd. by small-angle x-ray scattering measurements, is const. up to a soft phase content of 40%, due to hard phase single crystals, but increases for samples contg. ≥50% soft phase. The degree of crystallinity was reduced with increasing soft phase content. The differential scanning calorimetry thermograms, m.p., and apparent enthalpy of fusion were also affected by the molar ratio of the segments, but the variation was not linearly dependent on the amt. of soft phase.

Abstract
The differential scanning calorimetry thermograms, m.p., and apparent enthalpy of fusion were also affected by the molar ratio of the segments, but the variation was not linearly dependent on the amt. of soft phase.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
