Examined the relationship between inhabitants' perception of residential quality and attachment to their small residential environment. 200 residents (aged 16-65+ yrs) of 4 different neighborhoods in the city of Orvieto completed questionnaires concerning residential satisfaction and neighborhood attachment. Principle component analysis was used to evaluate the factor structure of the employed questionnaire. Multiple regression analysis was used to identify neighborhood attachment predictors.
