We present a project called "Chemistry in an Aquarium", which was developed over the last few years by a group of researchers from the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences of La Sapienza University of Rome and MUSIS (Multipolar Museum of Science and Scientific Information in Rome). The project aims to show how the study and analysis of physical and chemical parameters related to life in and the development of an aquarium can be used to teach chemistry at different school levels. This topic, initially developed during refresher courses for science teachers, was later successfully employed in the construction of an integrated museological unit for "CHEMistry for Life", a European project promoted by ECSITE and CEFIC.

Abstract
We present a project called "Chemistry in an Aquarium", which was developed over the last few years by a group of researchers from the Faculty of Mathematical, Physical and Natural Sciences of La Sapienza University of Rome and MUSIS (Multipolar Museum of Science and Scientific Information in Rome). The project aims to show how the study and analysis of physical and chemical parameters related to life in and the development of an aquarium can be used to teach chemistry at different school levels. This topic, initially developed during refresher courses for science teachers, was later successfully employed in the construction of an integrated museological unit for "CHEMistry for Life", a European project promoted by ECSITE and CEFIC.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
