Abstract
Development in information and in telecommunication technologies has brought to a rapid replacement of electrical and electronic equipment producing significant amounts of waste. Management of waste electrical and electronic equipment has become of big concern in terms of environmental impact and possible material recycling. A research has been carried out in order to evaluate the perspectives of metal recovery from printed circuit boards coming from telephone exchange units. After dismantling, components have been classified and characterised, considering different parameters, in order to define suitable component separation technologies and appropriate leaching processes to extract metallic constituents.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
