A rare case of colonic complications secondary to incarcerated Spigelian hernia is reported. First, the sigmoid perforation and later the colonic stenosis are observed. An analysis of this case is made and emphasis is laid on the importance of preoperative diagnosis and early surgical treatment of these cases.
