We have performed a study of protein dynamics in native and partially denatured horse-heart met-myoglobin (Mb-met) diluted in D2O. Protein dynamics is shown to be strongly solvent-dependent; in particular, higher degrees of macromolecular motions have been observed in the denatured states of Mb-met.
