Heavy metal pollution in the city of Rome is evaluated using Platanus sp. leaves as air quality bioaccumulator. Heavy metals concentration in leaves is related to the traffic intensity and to the sampling period. Also Lolium multiflorum Lam. was used for metals accumulation study.
