Cu K-edge Extended X-ray Absorption Fine Structure (EXAFS) measurements have been made to understand the local structure of superconducting La2CuO4.1 single crystal. The temperature dependent correlated Debye-Waller factors of Cu-O(planar) and Cu-La pairs show anomalous behavior at similar to 170 K. This temperature has been assigned to the ordering of CuO6 octahedral tiltings. The results show an interplay between the structural modulation of the perovskite and rock-salt layers in the title compound.
