Gli "errori" di S.M. Puglisi

Nella sua opera più nota S. M. Puglisi commise alcuni errori legati alla qualità dei dati disponibili, ma colse l’importanza del fenomeno della coesistenza a breve distanza di gruppi umani con caratteri culturali differenti e dei meccanismi di auto identificazione/assimilazione che si possono verificare a diversi livelli. Il tema sta divenendo sempre più attuale negli studi paletnologici. In his most famous work S.M. Puglisi made some mistakes caused by the quality of the available data in the fifties, but he realized the importance both of the phenomenon of human groups with different cultural features coexisting at close range and of mechanisms of auto-identification/assimilation operating at various levels.
