In the study of the EM interaction with a biological system, computational methods, typical of the physicochemical research area, are unavoidable when, the attention is focused at molecular level. In this paper some examples of the critical role they can play are given, applying such techniques in evaluating both the dielectric characteristics of the aqueous environment near the cell and the possible EM induced alterations on ligand-binding processes. © 2007 IEEE.

Abstract
In the study of the EM interaction with a biological system, computational methods, typical of the physicochemical research area, are unavoidable when, the attention is focused at molecular level. In this paper some examples of the critical role they can play are given, applying such techniques in evaluating both the dielectric characteristics of the aqueous environment near the cell and the possible EM induced alterations on ligand-binding processes. © 2007 IEEE.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
