Materials surface characteristics can be investigated by hyperspectral imaging. Such an approach is based on the utilization of an integrated hardware and software architecture able to digitally capture and handle spectra as an image sequence, as they results along a pre-defined alignment on a surface sample properly energized. The study was addressed to investigate the possibility to apply "on-line hyperspectral imaging" techniques to identify and quantify specific particles and particulate solids systems characteristics. Applications of hyperspectral imaging to different particle solids systems in different industrial sectors are presented in this paper, that is recycling glass, fluff from car dismantling and corn. The proposed approach could be profitably utilized also in many other fields where particles characterization represents the primary goal.

Abstract
The proposed approach could be profitably utilized also in many other fields where particles characterization represents the primary goal.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
