In this paper an innovative technique for ground range resolution improvement in Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) SAR systems is presented. The technique allows to achieve a maximum theoretical range resolution improvement factor greater than the number of operating SAR sensors, by exploiting both the monostatic and the bistatic acquisitions. The effectiveness of the proposed technique is validated over a simulated dataset. ©2009 IEEE.

Abstract
In this paper an innovative technique for ground range resolution improvement in Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) SAR systems is presented. The technique allows to achieve a maximum theoretical range resolution improvement factor greater than the number of operating SAR sensors, by exploiting both the monostatic and the bistatic acquisitions. The effectiveness of the proposed technique is validated over a simulated dataset. ©2009 IEEE.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
