The aim of this study is to analyse the behaviour of the consumption pro-capite function with respect to the time in a country after at a certain instant immigrates begin to come in. The consumption pro-capite is taken as an indicator of the social welfare in the home country and the welfare increases when the consumption pro-capite is increasing. We can imagine a policy maker in the home country who has to decide how to rule the flux of immigrates the country can receive without social destabilization: we shall find a threshold level of the immigration flux over which the migrants workers contribute to an improvement of the welfare in the home country and under which they can cause a reduction of the welfare.
