After a brief review of the technique for building the authorized measures of order k necessary for studying and directly modeling the Generalized Covariance, the results of applications to some case studies are presented. The classical structural analysis approach (automatic) is compared to the proposed direct modeling approach, basically observing, for several real data sets, the results of test-kriging and the quality of the maps obtained for the two approaches. Finally, the usefulness of getting both “tools” operating on the same package is stressed.

Abstract
After a brief review of the technique for building the authorized measures of order k necessary for studying and directly modeling the Generalized Covariance, the results of applications to some case studies are presented. The classical structural analysis approach (automatic) is compared to the proposed direct modeling approach, basically observing, for several real data sets, the results of test-kriging and the quality of the maps obtained for the two approaches. Finally, the usefulness of getting both “tools” operating on the same package is stressed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
