L’articolo riguarda la traslitterazione e la traduzione accompagnata da note di commento delle canzoni di matrimonio del Ladakh in uso nell’area di Wamle. Le canzoni tutte appartenenti alla tradizione orale sono state raccolte e messe per iscritto in alfabeto tibetano da H. Francke (1870-1930). La Archeological Survey of India le inviò a Giuseppe Tucci che le conservò nel suo archivio. My paper presents the editing together with an annotated translation of the 39 wedding songs from Wam le (Ladakh) . These songs are part of August Hermann Francke's (1870-1930) material kept in the IsIAO institute. The aim is to make this forgotten material available and to compare it with the wedding songs that have already appeared in scattered publications.
