The point-matched finite element-time domain method (FE-TD) is applied to study the susceptibility of nonuniform thin wires excited by a transient, nonuniform electromagnetic field. The scattered voltage formulation of transmission line equations is adopted and distributed voltage sources are considered. Field equations and transmission line equations are simultaneously solved at discrete time steps adopting the leap-frog scheme.

Abstract
The point-matched finite element-time domain method (FE-TD) is applied to study the susceptibility of nonuniform thin wires excited by a transient, nonuniform electromagnetic field. The scattered voltage formulation of transmission line equations is adopted and distributed voltage sources are considered. Field equations and transmission line equations are simultaneously solved at discrete time steps adopting the leap-frog scheme.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
