The shift towards electrification and a sustainable energy system is creating challenges across all stages of the electricity supply chain, particularly for end users. This transition calls for innovative solutions to fully harness the benefits of electrification across multiple sectors. This paper builds upon Virtual Partitioning Algorithm (VPA) that virtually allocates a portion of the battery of Electrical Vehicles (EVs) to provide Vehicle-to-Home (V2H) services. It investigates the criteria for selecting the virtual partitioning coefficient based on economic considerations, demonstrating how dedicating part of the EV battery for V2H service can beneficially impact on the EV total cost of ownership (TCO) considering a real prosumer case. This approach enables the EV to function as a stationary storage system, eliminating the need for investment in a separate Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and also alleviate the TCO making EV more convenient and competitive for final users.

Abstract
This approach enables the EV to function as a stationary storage system, eliminating the need for investment in a separate Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) and also alleviate the TCO making EV more convenient and competitive for final users.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
