Abstract
The study of this paper involves establishing an optimal retargeting manoeuvre for an agile Earth Observation satellite and investigating the criteria to perform the manoeuvre. Reaction wheels in a 4-wheel pyramid structure are considered as torque actuators. An optimal manoeuvre is calculated for the shortest distance to a target orientation, and an attitude tracking method is employed to perform the manoeuvre. The results are validated through a numerical simulation.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
