The fragment, no longer static, but as a fertilizing action oscillating between pain and pleasure, which shakes the status quo ante by making a different scenario germinate, at the same time mindful of the values of origin and the mission of testifying to tradition. Il frammento è sempre considerato parte di un tutto e, come conseguenza naturale, accostato al concetto di memoria per il fatto che la parte restante, costituente la totalità, è spesse volte assente o immateriale. Questa mancanza induce all’immaginazione romantica propria del periodo ipotetico dell’irrealtà e del mondo onirico, oppure, suggerisce l’obiettivo o un programma di recupero di tale unità. In linea di massima, sono le considerazioni che vanno per la maggiore, quando si parla dell’argomento, però in questa sede si vuole indagare in un’altra direzione, quella più positiva e dinamica: il frammento come un seme di una nuova vita, una navicella portatrice di un patrimonio da tramandare ad una nuova realtà, una matrice completa di un’entità presente e futura realizzabile.
