The Experiences of the Regions in the Constitution of Ethnoanthropological Research Archives In Italy, ethnoanthropological research has always paid special attention to the documents, both written and audiovisual, produced during the research and soon had to deal with the constitution of research archives. This orientation marks a specificity in history of Italian anthropological studies of folk tradition, in its connection with militant research. In the 1970s-1980s, this concern for documents (sound, visual, etc.) has become part of cultural policies of some local institutions, especially in some Regions, thanks to a series of favourable local conditions on both a political and cultural level. In order to shed light on the work that some Regions have done in the field of ethno-anthropological research and archives, the essay proposes a dialogue with two functionaries, scholars and anthropological researchers, Renata Meazza, an executive of Lombardy Region until 2018, and Maria Federico, an executive in the Lazio Region until 2021. Both have experienced the birth of anthropological research in the Regions and the consequent establishment of archives from the earliest stages.

Abstract
Both have experienced the birth of anthropological research in the Regions and the consequent establishment of archives from the earliest stages.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
