Starting from a theoretical framework between the geography of religions and Geographical Information Systems (gis), the article proposes to examine the settlement of the Great Mosque in Rome by exploring the variation over time of its proximity to a potential pool of users thanks to the elaboration of official statistics provided by the Municipality of Rome on the foreign population residing in the area of Monte Antenne.
