At the beginning of the 2025 season, we refined the area’s topographic framework by integrating and correcting satellite and drone imagery of three macro-sectors into a unified network, ensuring geomatic control of excavation areas (A, B, C), geological and palynological surveys, and the surrounding natural and human landscape of the Muslimat oasis. Along the road between Muslimat and Tawiyah, we re-established the expedition base for the third season, supporting ongoing multidisciplinary research and the development of a natural and cultural open park linking Wadi al Ma’awil, Khatum, Mahalil, and Al-Awabi with key sites such as Nakhal, Al Gasham House, and Wakhan Village.

Abstract
At the beginning of the 2025 season, we refined the area’s topographic framework by integrating and correcting satellite and drone imagery of three macro-sectors into a unified network, ensuring geomatic control of excavation areas (A, B, C), geological and palynological surveys, and the surrounding natural and human landscape of the Muslimat oasis. Along the road between Muslimat and Tawiyah, we re-established the expedition base for the third season, supporting ongoing multidisciplinary research and the development of a natural and cultural open park linking Wadi al Ma’awil, Khatum, Mahalil, and Al-Awabi with key sites such as Nakhal, Al Gasham House, and Wakhan Village.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
